The entrance: the transition from the outside world to the inside<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A well-designed urban spa begins before the client even undresses. The transition from the street to the wellness space is an element many overlook. Well-designed transition elements include: dampening outside noise from the entrance, a change in temperature and aroma from the first step, a gradual dimming of light, and a reception area that feels welcoming, not like a bank counter.
